DISK - CHECK
1 Syntax: CHKDSK T:P\F/F/V
2 Above syntax is for Non-Shell environment.
3 Options/Parameters apply to all environments.
4 /F Fix Errors.
/V Display Paths and Files.
5 Use command to analyze Directories, Files, and File Allocation Table of
Target disk. Produces a disk and system memory report.

1 Syntax: DISKCOMP S: T:/1/8
2 Above syntax is for Non-Shell environment.

/8 Compare 8 Sectors per Track.
5 Use command to compare entire contents of Source and Target diskettes.
Hard disks or different format disks may not be compared.

5 Use command to copy entire contents of Source diskette to Target diskette.
Hard disks or different format disks may not be copied.

/4 Format Double Side High Capacity.
/8 Format 8 Sectors per Track.
/B Format 8 Sectors and Allocate DOS.
/S Copy DOS Files.
/V Install Volume Label.
5 Use command to prepare Target disk for storage of data. If this disk is
already formatted, all existing Files will be deleted!
6 Command is limited to drives A: and B: in the DOS BOSS Command Shell
environment.
